Back to school. Aww man, reading week was way too short...I barely had enough time to do all the things I wanted to do (most of which I didn’t end up doing anyway). For starters, I didn’t end up getting any sort of work done on my page, until now...but I had a good time last week...had *3* japanese dinners in a row (Thurs to Sat..ugh), saw 2 movies (The Royal Tenenbaums and Gosford Park both pleasantly surprised me...go see them!), and saw ONE KICKASS HOCKEY GAME!!!! You knew I was gonna mention it sooner or later...haha...GO CANADA GO!! WHOO HOO!! May I say that the gold medal game was the most exciting game of hockey that I have ever watched...sitting on edge, everything was fast and furious, no commercial breaks in between plays, and we were all jumping up and down yelling at the TV the whole game...not to mention, we all held our pee until the intermissions...it was just as if we were there! =)

Reading Week also saw our annual UTCCF Winter Retreat. It was stressing me like crazy, but in the end, it was all worth it. I couldn't have done it without the great group of people that helped run it. I think that God really used it to bond the fellowship together, which was what the whole point of the retreat - to be together as a fellowship, as one voice. God really showed me a lot during this retreat too. Though it wasn't so much of a retreat for me by the classic definition - with the exception of my sleeping in during the mornings, I had almost no quiet time at all - it was still a memorable experience nonetheless, and I wouldn't trade it for anything else for that weekend. Be patient for the pics and special video clip, I promise I'll post them up soon!

I'm hit #2000 on Wongoz's site! I’m a celeb on his page now...tho I was busted for reloading my browser to get from 1998...to 1999...to 2000 =)

Songs of the moment: S'Wonderful by Diana Krall, Insatiable by Darren Hayes (the guy from Savage Garden), and Waiting in Canada by Jann Arden.

I'm still too lazy to post up clean pics from CUTC 2002, but you can get the raw, huge-sized photos from JCool.FTP. NBTC 2002 and the first-ever TUBS seem to be starting to get into full gear. Make sure you register for these conferences early!

Until next time, our week of freedom's up. Time to hit those books!

***I just realized how much of a dumbass I am...and that when I transfer what I had on the front page to here, I did it only when I updated it - meaning the dates are all off from their original post dates. The following was posted February 1, 2002. From now on, I'll do a double post, one on the front page of my site, one here, so the dates shown for posts will all be correct. =)

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming....

Introducing the MorphTrack. Last time I announced that I was finally going to start on the redevelopment of jcool.com to whoop every other web site's arse...that and to brush up on my web skills, they're becoming stagnant from a lack of use. Beside the calendar below is now the MorphTrack: it'll let you know what the latest design change to the web site is. As you can see, the latest morph to jcool.com is the introduction of CSS, or Cascading StyleSheets. I also optimized the code to make loading more efficient. In layman's terms, it's something that'll give visitors to jcool.com that warm, fuzzy feeling. =)

I'm still wondering how to incorporate the JCool.BLOG into the site properly...it's still trying to fit in and find its niche....any suggestions anyone?

Songs of the moment: Feels So Right by Eagle Eye Cherry, Insatiable by Darren Hayes (the guy from Savage Garden), and some stupid Chinese song that was played on repeat at the restaurant I was at for lunch...I hate it but I can't get it out of my head!

I'm still too lazy to post up clean pics from CUTC 2002, but you can get the raw, huge-sized photos from JCool.FTP. NBTC 2002 and the first-ever TUBS seem to be starting to get into full gear. Make sure you register for these conferences early!

Until next time, keep working on getting that Christmas flab off.
