I love pressure...
the past little while has been crazy swamped for me. Assignments, meetings, travelling, conferences, seminars, semi-formals, lunch/dinner/coffee dates, scotch tastings, Raptors games, you name it. NBTC, especially, is taking up a lot of my life now. Pressure's on, and I love it. Pressure's when I get the most done and I'm at my best.
I have no room in my life right now for drama, incompetence, or things that get in my way. Of course, I'd just as well settle for a good night's sleep for once instead =P
Sometimes I really wonder about my constant demand for perfection, for things to be done the right way. I don't have the energy nor the time to carry everything on my back. One thing that I've learned, though, is how crucial it is to have a good team working with you. The value of having an A-level team working with you is absolutely priceless. If you bring in B-level or C-level people, then they'll bring in C or D-level people and sooner or later everything will collapse. I'd be dead if I didn't have my handpicked team. Thanks guys.
