I LOVE LA!...

So I'm smack in the middle of my Entrepreneurship program at the Anderson School of Business down in UCLA...and all I can say is WOW! I got a helluva lot more than I bargained for.

For one, I thought it'd be similar to all the other summer study abroad programs that I've done in the past, with HKU and Oxford - but those were different. Those were undergrad programs. I knew that this would be different since instead of earning undergrad credits, I'd be getting a certificate. What I didn't count on, was that the courses I'd be taking are actually grad school courses. As in MBA school. Add to the fact that it's compressing THREE courses into a summer, and you've got my position - class 9-to-5 straight, work on group projects til 8, eat dinner, work some more, read my textbooks til 3am, sleep for 4 hours, wake up and repeat.

And I wouldn't have it any other way!

I've always thrived under the gun. When I'm pushed to the limit, I love rolling up my sleeves and getting to work. When I assert myself, I really assert myself. I'm learning so much, I've probably learned more than I have in an entire year back at UT. Of course, it helps that I can read and study on the lawn of a beautiful campus in Westwood, the beaches in Malibu, or the cafes in Santa Monica. I'm only 10 minutes away from each!!
